Memory Lane

Today my little boy (who's not so little anymore) is 10 Months old! Where has the time gone? I thought I'd share some pictures of him when he was just 2 months old. He is in a basket at his great grandmother's house. This was the same basket his great- uncle Tommy came home from the hospital in 50 some years ago. He's growing too fast!

FIRST WORDS

Exciting news!! Noah has begun talking. Well, not so much having conversations but he actually says words now. His first word was "STINKY". I was changing him and said- PU you are stinky and he looked up and laughed and then repeated it. Oh well, I guess it could be worse. What was your first word or your kids first word?

SWEET KISSES

You turn your back on Noah for 3 seconds and he's over at the dog pen giving all his kisses away. This boy will kiss anything that moves! Oh well, I'm hoping no communicable diseases were passed during these pictures.

THE MANY FACES OF NOAH

THE: I'm figuring how to get that camera out of your hand face
THE: Yeah I know I'm cute face

OF COURSE THE: Squinto the Indian Face

The Face that scares me when he comes after me with it.

THE: I just screamed myself to sleep in the carseat face.

And finally THE: Get these things off my face, Face!
I never knew one youngin' could look so different. It seems Noah changes daily. But it's so much fun to watch. You never know what is coming next.

Great Toy Miranda!

These are some of Noah's favorite and not so favorite toys. The first pic is of Noah starting to climb. I have no idea what I'm going to do when he actually gets up on the table. The second picture is of a duck that plays a song. My cousin Miranda gave it to Noah a long time ago and he used to love it but as you can see, the song now makes him cry! :( The last picture is of a toy that Miranda also gave him but I don't think that is how it's meant to be used. Oh well, at least he's not bawling. We love you Miranda!!

WHAT DO YOU GET......?

So what do you get when you cram 16 adults and 2 children (under 2) in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath beach house? Well....... you get a lot of really LOUD movies, a few arguments over boardgames, :) an overabundance of food, a lot of laughing, sand everywhere, some good walks on the beach, Dairy Queen, shopping in Southport, and a very tired baby. I had so much fun with all of you. Thank you for putting up with the crying baby at 3am. Noah absolutely loved the water! He was totally fearless and would have just crawled on into the ocean if we hadn't intervened. Everyday at the beach after we had been there about 30 min though, Noah would just fall dead asleep, and always with a shell in his hand. I can't wait until next year!
