MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

Our family would like to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas! We hope in all the hustle and bustle of buying gifts that you remember the greatest gift of all that was given to us over 2,000 years ago in a little stable, God's son Jesus. Take a few moments out of your joyful Christmas morning and read the Christmas story in Luke 2, and have a wonderful Christmas!

What's Grosser than Gross??

What's grosser than gross (but cute)? Noah making out with the dog. Boy do I have blackmail material when he's grown.

Christmas Time is Coming

Time to break out those warm fuzzy slippers!!

And to hang up Christmas lights.....

And to put up Christmas trees.......
And to remember the TRUE meaning of Christmas!!
Well, J&B inspired me to post on my Christmas decorations. We decided to have a significantly smaller and fake tree this year due to a rambunctious toddler. So far so good. Noah enjoyed his trip to the Meadow lights . He loved the train and would motion for it to honk everytime it went by. I'm not sure Aunt Rachael was as thrilled :) Of all my decorations, my Willow Tree Manger Scene is my favorite. Every morning, Noah wants to see it so I get to tell him the whole Christmas story. He can now tell you what a donkey says!

My Funny Little Boy

Noah's funny little personality is really showing itself. I'm afraid he has his Daddy's sense of humor! Noah loves to eat catfood (first pic), stand on his head (second pic) after spilling a glass of juice down his front, and dressing very strangely while dragging Daddy's belt around (third pic). Oh well, I'm sure this is the start of his freedom of expression :)

COWS

Noah has a new found love. No, not a normal pet like a cat or dog. It's COWS! Just look how excited he got seeing them this weekend. He was pretty fearless with them and loved that fact that when he went after them they ran.

Walks on the Farm

The leaves are finally turning! It seems like they have turned all of a sudden. Because of the beautiful weather, Mike, Noah and I have been taking daily walks on the farm enjoying God's creation. These are some of the pictures we have taken while we were out playing. I love the one of the water. It reminds me of the verse that says "He leads me beside STILL waters. He restoreth my soul." That is so comforting in days of turbulence and turmoil. God is not the author of confusion. He wants us to follow him through that confusion into the STILL waters.

So I had a Bad Day......

Noah has had a rough past 2 days. Yesterday started off great with a trip with Nana to the mall to buy a Christmas outfit but somehow Noah found the time to get a black eye. Then, later that day, he decided to run head first into a door jam and put his tooth through his lip. (See first picture). And if that weren't exciting enough, the doctor says he now has a virus. Great! But, as the second picture shows there is always time to be silly. Today ended up pretty good however because Grandaddy came to cheer him up on his newly refurbished red tractor. Noah loved it and cried when he had to get off. Here's to a better week!

LIKE FATHER LIKE SON??

Noah tried all day to catch this spider. It would run from one end of the kitchen to the other. He finally got it. Maybe he takes after his Daddy and Grandaddy and is a natural exterminator. He certainly doesn't take after Aunt Rachael who would run screaming through walls if she saw one.

Catching Up

The family at a Halloween Party: Mike was a cowboy, Martha was Mary Catherine Gallagher

from Saturday Night Live and Noah was a Carolina Panther Player

Sometimes when I get nervous..........;)

He may look ok now but he was terrified at first!

Then Noah had his friend Jacob come over on Saturday and they got to play!

It's been a few days since I posted so I thought we'd catch up a bit. First we had Halloween and Noah was not to happy at first but then he warmed up. Then on Saturday we got to see old friends (not that you are old but you know what I mean) and Noah got to play with Jacob. He learned never to turn his back on Jacob because you will get tackled. I'm pretty sure he's going to be in professional football. They had a wonderful time and they both ended up crashing on the floor about 7:30pm. Whew...what a great weekend.

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY!!

Where did my LITTLE baby go??
Getting ready for the party.
What a beautiful cake!! Mickey Mouse!!

Noah gets his own personal cake to destroy.
He's not sure he's allowed to destroy it yet...
Oh yeah! Now we're getting the hang of it.
Now that's more like it!
Everyone wore party hats and sang...
Some of us got a little confused..... :)

And Noah ended up in the tub.

But he got some really cool presents.
Where has my baby gone? I'll tell you. He's growing up to be a very funny, very active boy. I'll miss my baby but I love this boy he's becoming. One year ago I couldn't imagine life with a baby. Now I can't imagine life without him. He's my pride and joy and I thank God for him.
Thank you all for making his birthday so special.

HAPPY FALL

Nothing like a nice crisp fall day to pick out a pumpkin (or just have a photo op). Noah went wild in the pumpkin patch and tried to put every stem in his mouth! We did pick out a small 'noah' size pumpkin just for him.

FINGERPAINTING

I thought this was really cute until I had to clean it all up a few minutes later! :)

Here's another shameless video of my son showing off (and us helping a little)

Everybody Dance Now

I'm sorry this is sideways. Not sure what happened there but we have found out that Noah loves to dance. If he has any rythm it's not from either of us however.

Mis-chie-vi-ous

Noah waiting for someone to come rescue him and let him play outside.
A very scary face when it comes after you!

Trying to open the bottle with his teeth. Not a good sign.

I walk out of the room for 2 seconds and Noah has found a paper towel roll and ripped it to shreds. He then proceeded to eat the shreds. Naughty, Naughty boy. :)
