Walks on the Farm
The leaves are finally turning! It seems like they have turned all of a sudden. Because of the beautiful weather, Mike, Noah and I have been taking daily walks on the farm enjoying God's creation. These are some of the pictures we have taken while we were out playing. I love the one of the water. It reminds me of the verse that says "He leads me beside STILL waters. He restoreth my soul." That is so comforting in days of turbulence and turmoil. God is not the author of confusion. He wants us to follow him through that confusion into the STILL waters.

So I had a Bad Day......
Noah has had a rough past 2 days. Yesterday started off great with a trip with Nana to the mall to buy a Christmas outfit but somehow Noah found the time to get a black eye. Then, later that day, he decided to run head first into a door jam and put his tooth through his lip. (See first picture). And if that weren't exciting enough, the doctor says he now has a virus. Great! But, as the second picture shows there is always time to be silly. Today ended up pretty good however because Grandaddy came to cheer him up on his newly refurbished red tractor. Noah loved it and cried when he had to get off. Here's to a better week!

LIKE FATHER LIKE SON??
Noah tried all day to catch this spider. It would run from one end of the kitchen to the other. He finally got it. Maybe he takes after his Daddy and Grandaddy and is a natural exterminator. He certainly doesn't take after Aunt Rachael who would run screaming through walls if she saw one.

Catching Up
from Saturday Night Live and Noah was a Carolina Panther Player
Sometimes when I get nervous..........;)
He may look ok now but he was terrified at first!
Then Noah had his friend Jacob come over on Saturday and they got to play!
It's been a few days since I posted so I thought we'd catch up a bit. First we had Halloween and Noah was not to happy at first but then he warmed up. Then on Saturday we got to see old friends (not that you are old but you know what I mean) and Noah got to play with Jacob. He learned never to turn his back on Jacob because you will get tackled. I'm pretty sure he's going to be in professional football. They had a wonderful time and they both ended up crashing on the floor about 7:30pm. Whew...what a great weekend.
