I love looking at life through my son's eyes. In his eyes things either are or they aren't. Issues are either black or white. In today's world we are constantly being told to erase what we know as right and wrong and blur the lines to a gray. My challenge to you is "don't do it". There are some things too important not to stand up for.

Weekend Fun
Noah and the fish at the museum
Deep in thought on the tracks (no train running of course)
Noah and Dada
Head first as usual. No fear here!
He wasn't too sure about this piece of playground equipment
Exhausted!!
We had an action packed Saturday. We started by going to the park and playing on the slide and in the playground. Then we went to the museum to see all the sights it had to offer. Noah's favorite was the fish. He kept making the fish mouth and kissing the glass. Then we headed home exhausted. All of us!! But what great memories.

CONVICTED!
Have you ever been slapped upside the head with a Biblical truth and it just left you speechless? Now anyone who knows me knows I don't have that problem often but Sunday was one of those days. I'll admit, it was one of those days where I said to myself "I'm just having a bad day and don't want to go to church". And God said to me "good, then that's when you really need to go." Well, once again how right He was. My pastor was preaching on how Satan loves to find where God is working in people's lives and families and church families and get in there and cause discouragment and division. Well then came the bombshell. He said "Your spiritual maturity is determined by what it takes to stop your praising God." WOW! I must say that sometimes it doesn't take much. Especially when times get hard and the focus gets on myself. But today I'm changing that and I'll start the praises. I thank God for my little boy who lives life carefree and is such a blessing from heaven. I thank God for my husband who is a rock for me. I thank God for my family who has always been a blessing to me. I thank God for my friends who spur me on to good works for the Lord. I thank God for my church family who have help so many men and women "grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord". I thank God for sending his Son Jesus to die for me, a dirty rotten sinner who does not deserve it. I thank God for the hard times because in those "His strength is made perfect in my weakness". Well, I'm sorry this is so long but I'm so full! So what will YOU praise God for?

Ah Motherhoood....
A BIG congratulations to my friend Rachel on her beautiful, new baby girl, Aubrey Noel. Motherhood (as you can see from my picture) is exhausting yet wonderful at the same time. I wouldn't trade it for the world!! (maybe for a good night sleep though :) You can do it Rachel. We love you. Maybe we can work out a whole "arranged marriage" thing. I never believed in them until I had a kid ;)

Cow Surgery
The Emasculator
Be very afraid cow.
John and Mike preparing for the dirty deed..
Noah loved is ride with Mr. Fred on the gator.
This past weekend we all went to John's farm and had a "cow surgery" day. It was time for the boy cows to remain boy cows and the girl cows just had to get ear tags. Mike and John were very brave getting in the chute with the bawling and kicking calves. The catchers mask and big knee guards came in handy. Noah loved watching the action. His favorite part of the ordeal was riding in the gator with Mr. Fred. He cried when he had to get out. After we got home everyone got a bath because they smelled like cow. A good time was had by all.
