So I had a Bad Day......

Noah has had a rough past 2 days. Yesterday started off great with a trip with Nana to the mall to buy a Christmas outfit but somehow Noah found the time to get a black eye. Then, later that day, he decided to run head first into a door jam and put his tooth through his lip. (See first picture). And if that weren't exciting enough, the doctor says he now has a virus. Great! But, as the second picture shows there is always time to be silly. Today ended up pretty good however because Grandaddy came to cheer him up on his newly refurbished red tractor. Noah loved it and cried when he had to get off. Here's to a better week!

Poor Noah. :) Well I hope he doesn't have anymore bad days. Only good ones from here on out. Wouldn't that be nice?! :) Brian leaves next Saturday so he wanted to see if you guys had any plans in the next week so we can go out to eat or something. Let me know k. Take care and we'll see you soon! :)

I figured Noah would be bruised after the encounter with the door facing yesterday. I was going to call to see how he is today, but he really doesn't look nearly as bad as I thought he would as hard as he fell. You were a real trooper! Cool, calm, and collected.... all the ingredients for a great mom!

I'm sure you've already been told, "Welcome to the life of a toddler!" If it makes you feel any better, I've seen many toddlers with black eyes and skinned noses. There's often the big bulge on the forehead, too. I often attribute it to a growth spurt. However, it seems it may run in the family--I had a couple of black eyes by his age, too.
)Let's just hope that Jasmine's nice to him when she moves to the farm this weekend!!!) :-)

Thank you guys for the encouragment. Last night we went out to eat and there was a 12 month old little girl in line behind us and she had a black eye and one of her front teeth were broken off. After that, I didn't feel like such a horrible mom! :)

Sorry things have been so rough. Boys are something, aren't they? I promise- they only get clumsier. Good news is, the older they get the less the boo-boos hurt. Brandon and Connor will get bumps and bruises that I KNOW hurt and don't even cry. I hope you are getting your sleep:)
