LIKE FATHER LIKE SON

It is starting early here at the little red house. The indoctrination into a brotherhood. Here is Noah in his GI Joe outfit (courtesy of Nana & Poppy). He looks just like Mike (except without the Airborne tatoo) and it won't be long until he's outside playing war and pretending to blow things up. I think he'll have a lot of Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles and not to mention his Mama that will threaten his life if he looks the way of the Army. But for now, he has plenty of time to play war.

BABY OOZIE

No, this isn't Noah. This is Hannah's cat Oozie. Oozie was enthralled by Noah at the American Idol Party and as soon as he was out of his car seat Oozie was in it. Then, John took it one step further and snapped her in and she loved it!! She even played with the toys!! Give Noah a few more months however and I think Oozie will be running for her life ;)

BEAUTIFUL BOY

Alot going on this past weekend with Noah. He started TEETHING!! I can't believe it already but he has all the signs. I'll let you know when the teeth appear. Also, he went through his close to 3 month growth spurt and ate about every 1 1/2 hours! Now he's definately a porker!! I thought I'd share some black and white photos I took a few weeks ago.

AUNTIES

I thought I'd do a post on the Aunt's in Noah's life. Aunt Rachael and Aunt Michelle. He loves these two girls (after he got over his fear of Aunt Rachael :) They are going to be very important in Noah's life and they get to spoil him!! What a lucky little boy.

WE SURVIVED!!

Well Noah survived his first roadtrip. We went to see Grandaddy Evans, Uncle Ronnie and Dusie down in South Carolina. We had a wonderful and RESTFUL time and can't wait to go back. Thank you all for a great time. We hope you all have survived!! Above: Noah and Grandaddy Evans

UNCLE JIMMY

No, Jimmy isn't Noah or Steven's uncle by blood but don't tell him that!! I took this picture at Christmas. Doesn't Jimmy play the proud uncle part well?? Being an "Uncle" comes with all the perks of diaper changing, being spit up on, rocking a screaming youngin' to sleep and lots more things to come!!
On another note..... Noah will be going on his first "road trip" this weekend to Columbia, SC to see his grandpa Mike. Wish us well!!

RECOVERY

Thank you all for your prayers for Noah while he got his shots. He ended up getting 5 so it was a tough weekend but now I think we are back to normal. Oh, and he would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. (He slept through the ball dropping though).
