I was going to wait and break the news to you in person but since you brought it up....

I'm going to re-train Spice. Yes, you heard it right. I'm completely starting her over.

Here is her training schedule

1)Lunging: getting her back in shape
2)Scary obstical training
3)Releasing the buck (ask me about this one. I'll need some help...and probably a body cast.
4)Chosing the perfect bit.
5)Riding
6)Cantering (without tripping, falling, and bucking the rider off)

SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD TIME TO ME!

He is going to love the farm!! What a nice place to grow up. Can't wait to see him out there playing with the chickens and chasing them around. Nana

Give him a kiss for me. I miss him!!

How did you get the chickens to pose like that? They look so orderly compared to what is normally thought about chicken personalities...

OK-First to Rach: You must have a death wish.
Next to Carroll: He will LOVE chasing cows but he already has a possum' that loves to eat chicken eggs.
Then to Nana: He misses you too!! You wont believe how he's growing and I think I see a tooth!! Are you up for him on Saturday??
Finally to Karen: I was trying to get the chickens to pose, they were however running from me in this shot ;)

So, I've been talking to my kids at school about "my cousin's chickens" and how I was going to get you to send me a picture. (The discussion always comes after doing the chicken dance--in which we try to walk like chickens during the slow part. Very funny!) Now that I've stolen the picture from your blog, I'm printing it out. Of course, the children will be asking me, "What are their names?" Do the ones in the picture have names? I've already told them the story several times about the chicken who almost got eaten by the fox--they like that one!
You should just move to Tennessee, so Noah can come to my school when he's old enough! :-)

This is the cutest idea for a blog. Old McNoah had a farm...Why is Spice evil? And I agree with Karen, those chickens look like they are in a parade, all neat and orderly.

Lydia - have you MET Spice???

Obviously not. I foresee a meeting in the near future, I just gotta find out why this harmless looking animal is referred to as "evil."

The kids in my school are going to love that! We have a Gretchen, but I'm wondering if she'll be impressed or not. :-)
