Exciting news!! Noah has begun talking. Well, not so much having conversations but he actually says words now. His first word was "STINKY". I was changing him and said- PU you are stinky and he looked up and laughed and then repeated it. Oh well, I guess it could be worse. What was your first word or your kids first word?

he'll never live that one down! I don't remember what my first word was... I'll have to ask mom.
Yours was "light" only it came out more like "ight"! How long ago was that??
Taco...but why state the obvious.
Rasheek, mine was "Hives", but like you said, "why state the obvious". ;)
I think mine was "da-da." Shirley was bitter about that for a while...especially since he didn't feed us, change us, or hold us unless he had to...
I remember my first words being "carcharodon carcharias". You might need to Google that one but I swear it's true!!
I Googled...and you're a nerd.
AAGH, Noah isn't old enough to talk!!! ...and "Stinky" is a great first word!
"TACO!" Come on Rach- what baby knows what a taco is? Oh, wait, did your parents leave you with the field hands while they worked? That would explain it...
IS that a giant prehistoric shark, Hannah? Just a guess...You need to read the book "Meg."
Kimberly's first word: mine
Lauren's first word:Cheese
Brandon's first sentence: Nonner did it.
Connor's first sentence: Me did it.
um...I was told that Kimberly had a different (and profane) first word...
; )
she did!! with a little bit of a ghetto twang to it.
Remember Stinky the cat you and Rachael gave us along with Inky?
I think I read from my baby book that my first words were "pix it."
The only acceptable first word for a baby is "football"!
I don't know...I would also accept "Wolfpack" or "chocolate."
Oh, I forgot about THAT first word...it doesn't count, she was just making sounds and that was her favorite sound.
My oldest and youngest both said Da Da first but my middle child her first word was George (My husbands bosses dog at the time) Its quite sad and disappointed my husband :)
