NOTHING LIKE A DAY AT THE ZOO

STYLIN' AND PROFILIN'
THE SEALS WERE PRETTY EXCITING

THIS WAS A MODEL OF A POLAR BEARS CAVE

THIS BEAR HAD THE RIGHT IDEA-IT WAS PRETTY WARM

THE ELEPHANTS REALLY PUT ON A SPLASHING SHOW

NOAH LOVED THE BIRDS IN THE AVIARY

Because the last couple of weeks have been pretty tough for Noah, Mike decided that we'd take a trip to the zoo on Saturday morning. So, we packed up all our junk and miraclulously (sp?) we were out of the house by 9:30am!! So to the zoo we went. I don't know who was more excited about it, us or Noah. I pretty sure it was us. So we saw all the cute little fuzzys except the ones they said were put away because it was too hot for them. We found it strange that it was mostly the ones in the Africa exibit that had too be moved. Noah's favorite place was the aviary even though we all almost died from heat exhaustion because it was at least 100 F in there. He also loved the seals. Those happen to be my favorite too!!
In other news....... CONGRATS to Tommy and Leanna! Your ring is beautiful. You two are PERFECT together. Oh and I too highly recommend the movie EXPELLED. On Sunday about 14 of the College/Career group went to see it and we left there pumped up! It was very moving and interesting. I hope everyone gets to see this thought provoking movie.

I love the zoo pictures. We're planning on going there next weekend and to the beach this weekend. Don't you just love sunny days that are warm where you can go on family trips like that. :) The first picture of Noah looks so serious. He's like, you looking at me? :) Love it. Hope you guys are doing good and we definately need to get together. Have any plans Sunday for supper?

Martha, are you wearing a sun-visor?

I want to extend my congrats to Tommy and Leanna and also to Bobbie and Jesse- what an exciting week for the C&C!

pictures are really cute, looks like you all had a fun time.I am glad the polar bear was out,he looks so cute. I think the zoo docent told us on one of our homeschool field trip that the giraffe's tongue is a long as the polar bear's paw. Don't know if it is true, but it entertained the kids.

Yes...expelled was a good movie! I was afraid that no one would see it because I publicly recommended it and I am a rocket scientist!

I am glad I was wrong yet again!
