Brother and Sister

Oh I cannot tell you how blessed we are!! We have 2 beautiful children who yes, are completely different but truly belong to us. We took Noah & Laurel to Pullen Park the other day. It's one of Noah's favorite places because of the train and we wanted to see how Laurel would do with unlimited space to play in. They had a blast. Laurel loved the slide. They are both not crazy about the carousel. Noah likes riding the little boats but the look on his face tells me he may be outgrowing them. So, Dadat took Noah to ride the BIG paddle boats. He had a great time paddling around the pond while Laurel and I looked on from the bank. We had a wonderful time with our babies and look forward to many more.

The carousel weird me out a little too. I think it's more the music than anything.

Marth,

How old is Laurel? I know that Steven and Noah are almost the same age, but looking at her, she looks almost the same age as Matthew (he's 1 year 5 months). Is that true? Did we end up with kids pretty much the same age?

Anyway, it's fun having two kids. It's fun to see their interaction, etc. It's especially fun to see the older one turning into a "teacher," sometimes - it's quite amusing to watch Matthew imitate everything Steven does.

Hey Martha. Did you get my message? :) So are you guys having a big b-day party for them together this year since both of their b-day's are in Oct.? That would be cute. Have a Halloween happy 3rd. for Noah and 2nd. for Laurel. :) Let me know about this Thursday if you guys will be home because that's when I'll be in town. Hope to talk to you soon.

I am so glad you are settling in as a family. As you left our house last Sunday evening the picture of the 4 of you walking down our drive (rear view) was a picture perfect moment and almost moved me to tears. God bless your family!
