Exercise

So Noah and I have been trying to get a little more exercise around the farm (and in the house). We've been for long walks, strolls in the wagon, down to see the horses (and sit in their food bowls), and the new favorite...playing basketball in the house. Lots of good fun and memories are being made. I just hope the long walks pay off in a little weight loss for me :)

Yeah, walking is good excercise...but running is even better! I remember loosing at least 15 lbs in about a couple of weeks by running twice a week and cutting back a little on what I ate!

...and if you are worried about involving Noah in this activity...don't. I once saw someone run a 10 k while pushing his child in a stroller!

Martha, he looks so grown up in those clothes! Thanks for your help for swap. Your mom was a real blessing, and I am sure got a work out throwing all those bags up to the thrift store guy!

I once had a guy try to show off by saying how disgusting it was that another girl in class wore thrift store clothes. He said he would never wear clothes that were once on someone elses body. I showed him my thrift clothes and explained to him that not everyone is dumb enough to spend money on overpriced yuppie clothes (in a nice way). He shut up. I heart thrift store stuff!!!!!

I'm so amazed at all the quality outdoor time you get with Noah, Martha! I end up chasing one or other of the boys the whole time we are out and never really get to look around and see anything:) Ah well, it will pass all too soon. Enjoy your times with your son!

will you pull me around in a wagon? You'd REALLY get a workout then. : )

Rachael, maybe he would have thought differently about second hand clothing if you gave him some of your clothes to wear!
