Doing Our Part

The infamous Baby Arnie (above)

I heard that Krispy Kreme Doughnuts are in danger of going under due to the downward turn in the economy so here we are doing our part to try and keep the business afloat. Noah found this hat that we had gotten months ago and put it on and said "Mama... I make you hotdog." Pretty funny little boy I have.
Now for Adoption News: We have applied for some grants but it will take 3-5 months to hear from them. We have been fervently praying that if International Adoption is the right path for us that the Lord would make a way for us financially without having to go into debt which we DO NOT want to do. The next day (I kid you not) the Lord opened a door for me to be able to care for Mike's little 12 week old cousin 3 days a week for a few months. This is an answer to prayer because I'll be able to earn a little income and still stay at home with Noah. Not to mention being able to watch this precious little boy grow. Stay tuned to pictures of the sweet little boy Connor!
Also, family has given us scrap jewelry, lots and lots of change, stuff to sell on ebay and other gifts some they are even making for us to try and sell. We are so blessed already!! Thank you to you all who are helping to bring a little girl into our family. We are also planning a yard sale in April to benefit the adoption.
**One thing you can be in prayer about: As of right now, the rumor is the country we want to adopt from is not accepting Dossiers for family wanting to adopt children 2 and under. Please pray that the Lord will make clear our path for us to keep pursuing this country or turn elsewhere.

I could sell Cedar and Holly. Actually, we would lose money on that deal. I would host a bake sale but I can't cook...or bake. You're on your own with this one. I did donate a Arizona quarter last week. If donating and you just taking it means the same thing.
